Almost every Nusuk problem falls into one of these — here’s what each means and how to fix it.
“Something Went Wrong” when verifying
Visa data hasn’t synced yet, or a detail doesn’t match. Fix: wait 24–48h after the visa issued, re-check digits, try the other number type, retry.
Name / details don’t match
What you typed differs from your passport, visa or GCC ID. Fix: enter details exactly as printed — spelling, order, digits, no extra spaces.
Registered too soon
Verifying minutes after the visa is issued often fails. Fix: give it up to 48 hours; create the email account meanwhile.
“No slots available”
Popular times fill fast, especially Rawdah. Fix: use the :00/:20/:40 method, try other periods and dates, and book days ahead.
A slot says “Soon”
That batch hasn’t been released yet. Fix: return on the next 20-minute mark; seats also drop in weekly batches.
Lost a Rawdah slot you booked
You didn’t confirm the visit in time. Fix: always confirm at least 48h before, and keep notifications on.
Turned away at the gate
No permit, wrong time or gate, or the QR wouldn’t load. Fix: carry a screenshot of the QR; arrive 20–30 min early at the right gate.
App crash / “session expired”
Corrupted cache or long idle time. Fix: update the app, clear its cache, log out and in, or reinstall.
Paying an “agent”
Permits are free; anyone charging isn’t official. Fix: only book in the official app or website. Never pay a permit fee.
Used Nafath as a visitor
Nafath is for Saudi residents and citizens only. Fix: register with email, then complete your profile as International or GCC Visitor.
Brought a prohibited item
Bags, cameras, food, drinks and water are refused. Fix: travel light — bring just your phone.
Children added incorrectly
Age rules differ, so bookings can fail. Fix: young children usually don’t need a permit but must be with a guardian; older children need their own. Follow the prompt.
