Contact form. When you contact us through the form on this site, we receive the name, email address and message you choose to send. We use this only to reply to you.

Comments. If you leave a comment, we store the comment and the name and email you provide. Your browser may also store these details if you tick the save option.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics (via Site Kit) to understand how visitors use the site — pages visited, approximate location, device type. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Security logs. Our security software (Wordfence) records IP addresses of visits to protect the site from malicious activity. These logs are kept only as long as needed for security purposes.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not display third-party advertising. We do not require an account to read any content on this site.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies: functional cookies required by WordPress, and analytics cookies set by Google Analytics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

The mobile app

The Umrah Guide app has its own data practices described on its store listings. The app is designed to work offline and does not require an account.

Data retention and your rights

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us via the contact page.
