My name is Waseem Mirza, and since 2012 I have had the deep honor of guiding and traveling with groups on both Umrah and Hajj. For more than a decade, I have witnessed countless life-changing moments and helped create unforgettable spiritual memories for thousands of travelers. This journey has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. As the founder of Mishkaat Norway, I have devoted myself wholeheartedly to making the pilgrimage experience more accessible, meaningful, and spiritually enriching for the Norwegian Muslim community.

I hold a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Engineering, an MBA in Innovation, and I have completed advanced entrepreneurship programs at both Cornell University and NTNU in Norway. Yet, despite my strong academic and technical background, my greatest passion has always been serving the guests of Allah through Umrah and Hajj. To me, this work is far more than a profession—it is a calling. I firmly believe in using knowledge, technology, experience, and faith together to create safe, smooth, and deeply transformative pilgrimage journeys.

I am also the author of the bestselling Amazon book Dua Guide for Umrah, written in English. This book was created from a sincere desire to help pilgrims connect more deeply with their worship by providing practical and spiritual guidance for every stage of their journey in the holy cities. Writing this book was itself a spiritual journey for me, and it brings me immense joy to know that it has touched and benefited so many hearts around the world.

Driven by the same passion, I created The Umrah Guide app as a digital companion for pilgrims—a complete, step-by-step guide designed to support you before, during, and after your Umrah. This app is the combination of my technical expertise, my years of on-ground experience, and my spiritual devotion to helping others perform their Umrah with confidence, clarity, and peace of mind. It was born from a heartfelt desire to ensure that no pilgrim ever feels lost, unprepared, or alone on this sacred journey.
